Qian Ying

Qian Ying (Flora), filmmaker and actress, was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province (China). She studied Literature of Film and Drama in Zhejiang Normal University in 2014 and obtained a Bachelor’s degree of Arts. In 2016, she studied digital media technology in Taitung University as an exchange student. She majored in Film Studies at The University of Southampton and obtained a Master’s Degree of Arts in 2019. As a director, she won the special prize of Advertising Art Competition in Zhejiang Province. In 2015, she starred in two theatre shows which were performed in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province in 2017 and 2018. She is currently based in London and working as a social media strategist, content creator (working on cross cultural social media channels) and an independent filmmaker.
